The Russians promised to send attack helicopters to Syria against the wishes of the United States and other European countries. A freighter loaded with these weapons of war got as far as Great Briton before it turned back. What happened? Some say that the insurance company pulled the ships insurance. Ridiculous! If the Russians really wanted to send those airplanes to Syria it would insure the ship.
Let’s jump to the other side of the world, to Los Cabos, Mexico to the G-20 summit. The news was filled with pictures of Presidents Putin and Obama. The captions read; “The body language indicated there is disagreement. Something is wrong.” I think that Obama somehow forced Putin into a corner and he ordered the ship to turn around. It was equitant to the Cuban Missile crisis of a time gone by. The gentleman Obama was gracious enough to allow Putin to “save face” over the incident by not bragging about what he did. I like what he did and the way he did it.
What a contrast to what would have happened if the conservatives controlled the White House. I am sure they would have waited until the ship arrived in Syria and then dramatically blown it out of the water to prove how macho they were. By the way they would have started another war, which they will do anyway if Romney is voted in.
