I am back in my position as armchair Democratic Strategist. All the Obama team has to do to win the “The middle class is doing just fine” argument is to have Obama go before cameras and say the middle class is doing just fine; jobs are increasing because of executive order. We need more jobs but they are heading in the right direction. Then he can point out that the public sector is failing because the Republican Congress and Republican State Governors are not doing fine. Why would this be a good strategy?
- First, it is true.
- Second, the incessant political ads Republican billionaires are paying for, use the quote taken out of context. This approach would put it back into context.
- Third, every time people would see the Republican ad, they would be reminded of the truth.
