HOW IS THE PRIVATE SECTOR REALLY DOING?

How is the private sector really doing? My interest was peaked because of the intense Republican response President Obama’s remark that “The private sector is doing just fine.” I know that Karl Rove, Bush’s Brain, has instilled in minds of his party that they profit from attacking the power of their opponent.  Using the Rove logic suggest that what Obama said must indicate he is doing something that is  really good and that hurts the Republican position. So let’s parse what the President said. He did not say they are at a level where he wants them to be. He said they are building jobs. There are not enough jobs—he knows that—but his administration is building them on a solid foundation in spite of tough opposition from corporate America. He also knows that the Republicans have blocked his efforts to build jobs in the public sector: teacher, firefighters, police, etc. Rove knows that we know; President Obama is right.  The private sector is doing just fine. However, the congress is not doing a good job. The public sector job creation is failing and that is the fault Republicans. Need I remind you, Romney is a Republican. Karl, you keep reminding me of things Democrats are doing right.
