What should be obvious is that Romney is not telling the truth. Just think about the simple straightforward
raw logic of why he is doing this. He is saying he will govern in the middle
right if the people of the United States elect him president. The people who want to believe he is telling the truth
are the right of center middle class Americans. They will believe his lies because
it is exactly what they want to hear. If he can convince them to vote for him,
he will be president. Once that happens, you cannot recall him, you can only impeach
him and everyone knows that is impossible with the make up of the congress. Another
way of looking at this is that Middle America—that means white, middleclass, middle
or the road, working class Americans—cannot
undo what he has talked them into doing (The “talking” is where corporate
money comes into play). Romney knows this but so should you. The next step is
that he will govern according to what he
really believes and not according to his lies, the ones you believed. This
is the lesson of Wisconsin—last Freetree blog. It seems trite to have to
explain what this means, which is Middle America elected him to govern in a middle
of the road way but what he does is to govern in a radical-right wing way. You may not like it but that is what you
got. In the words of the people of Wisconsin; Shame! Shame! Shame!
