I constantly hear Democrats refer to the current congress as a “do nothing congress”. They are wrong. This congress is working very hard. How else could its approval ratings be so low? The current figures seem to be 13% disapproval and 78% approval. How could people approve or disapprove what they do if they did nothing? Along with laws they know they do not have enough of an “inflated” majority to pass and even if they did pass them they have a president who would not sign them into law.
They are very busy not passing laws to create jobs, lower the deficit, or change the unemployment rate. They, an important unit of government, want Obama to fail so badly that they are attacking him on every front and I hate them for it. In keeping with “Biblical Law”, same a “Sharia law” but for the other God, which they hate, they are passing laws left and right in violation of our constitution, which demands that we operate under secular laws; same sex marriage and abortion top the list of the most enacted laws. However, even a bigger area of very hard work they are doing is to take advantage of George W. Bush’s crazy and intentional spending and cutting taxes to put us into debt. They wanted the debt to justify cutting all welfare spending. Bush was so anxious to get started doing this he tried to destroy Social Security before he had a crisis—he should read Naomi Klein’s Shock Doctrine to find out how professionals do it.
