An American Jew as Senate Minority leader is no big deal, but a Zionist as minority lead is dead wrong. President Obama had the deep wisdom to separate the Islamists into two groups, the regular ones, and the small group of extremists as a way to seek peace in the world. Now, he has the task of doing essentially same thing with the Jewish population in the United States. Separating the Zionist more loyal to Israel than to the United States, this will be a much more difficult task. I never dreamed such a prime would ever arise, but Benjamin Netanyahu with the help of John Boehner has created just that scenario. The sad thing is that Boehner and 47 senators have turned their back on their own country for their political gain. I consider what they have done to be near treason.
In these troubled times in the Middle East, Chuck Schumer is bad news as United States Senate Minority leader. Schumer in June 2010, in reference to Gaza, called on Israel to "strangle them economically until they see that's not the way to go". He went on to declare the Palestinians living have to learn when there's some moderation and cooperation, they can have an economic advancement. He also said Palestinians still don't believe in a Jewish State, in a two state solution or believe in the Torah or King David. Schumer thinks the Palestinians do not believe that Gaza is their land.
