REPUBLICANS PROVE THEY HATE MINORTIES

What is going on in Indiana? The state legislature passed a law that allows businesses to discriminate against anyone they chose to discriminate against. Brian Bosma (R), the speaker of the Indiana House wanted to clarify the state's Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The purpose of the bill is clear, radical right wing adherents such as Rand Paul believe that if a person owns a business, he or she can decide whom they will serve. When asked about the lunch counter situation, a naive Rand Paul said that. Of course, after being beat up by the media, now he would not answer that way.

A Noble Prize winner, Daniel Kahneman authored a book, Thinking Fast and Slow (2011). The pertinent point made was that your immediate thought is the truth, after thinking about it, you start making up reasons why you think the way you do. Governor Pence and Bosma are in that phase not; they are lying to justify what they want. Pence wants the notoriety among the right wing radials—primary voters. Just as union busting Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin wants the notoriety he gained by his activity. The danger is that primary voters will select one of these radicals as the Republican candidate for President. Once selected, these people will change their rhetoric just as Rand Paul changed his rhetoric. The truth is that they did not change their minds. They think a business owner can decide who he can serve and who he decides he does not want to serve; gays, blacks, Catholic, Muslims, Jews, and who else; it is their business and they own it even if it means they can show their hate.
