MILTON FRIEDMAN GREED REIGNS AGAIN

You are about to pay the price for your laziness; the Republican-controlled Congress of the United States is about to begin. Among the “important” work they have to do is explain how it is good for you not have unemployment insurance when you lose your job. Then, they may move on to explain, among other things, how old age poverty is good for you when they cut social security benefits. Of course, they will clearly explain how Obama should not have canceled medical insurance policies you “like” for which you pay an unbelievably small premium, even though they would not cover even the cost of the first five minutes in an emergency room. How about cutting welfare that takes care of the soldier’s families “big government” underpays? How about becoming excited when Congress cuts regulation of banks that are too big to fail?

Are you really going to be happy when Congress drowns the government in the bathtub you filled with water? Milton Friedman’s economics will destroy America just as it destroyed many governments in South America.  Of course, you know that the economic elite from the dictatorships in South and Central America flocked to Chicago to learn how to do that from this man before he brought his evil ways to Stanford. They like us are just now digging themselves out from under the curse of Reaganomics.  It is trite to have to write it but when the money is at the top, it does not trickle down.

You let a small bunch of racist, right to life advocates, and “no more taxes” hypocrites elect a Congress, while you sat in front of the idiot box on your couch drinking a cool beer the half-times ads told you to buy  while rooting for you hometown team that does not have one player from your hometown or even your state. The smallest proportion of voters ever gave the economic elite the majority—that is not you! By you not caring and not even casting a vote, you have elected a Congress controlled by Freidman disciples driven by greed, who are going to start the process of moving the money to the top all over again.
