The discussion this morning on +Morning Joe (MSNBC) was great. A magazine editor listed America's 20 craziest politicians. GQ's +Michael Hainey was their guest. Joe was shocked if not incensed—not one Democrat was on the list. One of the other guests responded by asking Joe what Democrat he thought should be on the list. Joe, evasive as always responded, “There are a lot of them.” The guest insisted, “Name one.” After a long and revealing hesitation, he responded +Charlie Rangel but could not name another.
The truth of the matter is that Republicans have elected the crazies Gohmert, Ernst, Bachman, Scott DesJarlais, Steve King, Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Victoria Fox, Marsha Blackburn, etc. I sincerely believe that Joe recognizes these people are on the lunatic fringe of politicians, as well; however, he also believes as Anne Coulter believes, if you are a liberal you are crazy, lazy, dirty, and unpatriotic government leeches there to steal the money of hard working flag-waving Americans. As such, he represents the low end of American political thinking willing to lie for ratings—when will MSNBC see the light and dump him.
