The midterm elections are coming up fast; I hope for the best but
fear the worst. America people seem like an alcoholic; they really have to hit
rock bottom before they realize that what they are doing is bad for them. They
know the economy is bad because the congress is blocking everything needed to
stimulate jobs. We need massive infrastructure rebuilding and expansion. We
need to restore the balance between labor and management before we can correct
the income gap. We must pay for what we want which means we must increase
taxes. Everyone knows the Republican Congress has a mind set on cutting taxes.
We know that we must take the money out of politics to restore the American dream
of equality among man; one-man one-vote. We know and hate that bribery is running
rampant in Congress; congress representatives vote for corporations and not their
constituents. Polls show that on issue after issue people overwhelming like some
things and do not like others yet the Republican controlled congress does the opposite
if it favors corporate interests. We hide behind a façade of believing both parties
are crooked but if we looks at where the corporate money is going and at lock
step voting it is clearly Republican who are the greedy. By looking at voter turn
out, we know that people no longer interested in voting yet clearly the Republican
Party is suppressing voting—is it beyond our ability to figure out that voter suppression
actually suppresses voters. Can we not understand that corporate media is
making money hand over fist on expensive negative ad after negative ad about
all candidates while those ads suppress voting as well. They make us hate all
politicians, which makes their money in politics more influential.
Republicans talk about free loaders; the ones who set around
doing nothing while collecting government salaries—the 47%; they point at welfare
queens, or lazy black people setting on their rockers on their porches, or
unwed mothers having child after child, or dirty lazy bums who sleep on the
streets. That point the fickle accusing finger at those of us who are liberal and tell us we are stealing their hard-earned money.
The truth is that the hard working Americans are the ones paying the taxes that
support welfare and not the lazy slobs setting in boardrooms making millions
for doing nothing; they are the ones that hire lawyers to prevent paying taxes.
They are also the ones who are buying recreations drugs and not the poor people
on the streets; the companies owned by Republican politicians are the ones that
proved poor people are not taking the drugs but the drug trade flourishes. Laboratories have tested thousands of welfare
recipients for drugs. The truth is that we all know that the Republican controlled
Congress of the United States is always on “paid” vacation when not in Washington
or on the golf course when they are in Washington and are not passing any legislation—zero.
Te Republican answer to all of this is not denial but it is
that Democrats too. I am here to tell you no it is not; they find one and
scream, see I told you so! Ridiculous. I say it is like seeing a flock of a
hundred ducks with one goose and saying see the geese are migrating. Like I say
look at numbers; look at the disparity between the votes and the interests of
constituents; look at she numbers of
lock step votes; look at where the million dollar donations go; look at the
number of lobbyists; how many lobbyists are there for welfare on K Street. The
evidence is overwhelming; the problem with our government is obviously due to
Republican political malfeasance and then look at the prospects for control of congress
in this midterm election and ask yourself, why?
