NETANYAHU'S FAILED LEADERSHIP

The fight between Palestine and Israel such an unfair fight ta that it should never have happened. Everyone knows this is a fact; it is a lopsided  fight and understands that Palestine lost even more of what it could not afford. It is a humanitarian tragedy. Look at the numbers; over 1,800 killed out of a population of 1.816 million inhabitants, the sixth densest populated country in the world. The Palestinians killed are mostly women and children or at least non-combatants. The people in the world appreciated the depth of hate involved when they hear an isolated Israeli politician describe the killing as Palestinian killing of “women with snakes in their wombs”; therefore, the killing of women and children is not just the result of the “fog of war” but intended. In addition, over 10,000 homes have been level leaving almost 50,000 people homeless. Who cares? Dogs live in the streets so let them live in the streets as well. Add to this the fact that the war has destroyed 100 factories as well in as country where there is 40% unemployment. We know that the war has a strong religious flavor is indicated by knowing that 80 mosques have been leveled to rubble.

Why would Palestinians allow Hamas to fire rockets into Israel and provoke a war? The Palestinian people know the fight will be unfair; they know they will lose big time. The answer is so simple it is over looked; for most of them, anything is better than living the way they are being forced to live. Mentally, it is impossible to create such a scenario in the United States. A neighboring state, in a period of 60 years, has used a growing military force and with the support of the other 49 states, has taken control of more and more of the targeted state’s territory and population until now is 40% of what it was. If you, for example, consider land owned verses land politically controlled, the figure is 100% of the targeted states land, which a neighboring state controls everything it wants to control; in other words, the targeted state exits in name only. They cannot cross a boarder, they cannot fish in the open sea, and they cannot negotiate with a foreign power. Israel even issues their birth and death certificates. It would be a form of absolute imperialism or domination—a slave state equivalent to slave quarters on a plantation.

This is Palestine today with an added feature to make things worse. Hamas, a radical religious motivated organization with outside resources, has introduced religion into the picture. Islamic Hamas uses their resources to provoke Jewish Israel. It is their resources; the rockets for example, bought and paid for by foreign sources, so irrational religious leaders have control of their use and not the Palestinians. A significant proportion of Palestinians give their “political” consent to Hamas firing of rockets into Israel, adds confusion to the picture.

Under the leadership of the belligerent Netanyahu and the extreme right wing politicians, Israel has created an impossible situation for the world to deal with. The world, including me, has a great deal of sympathy for the Jewish people but abhor what this man is doing in the Middle East. When Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Secretary of State Kerry should never again try to second-guess him when it comes to Hamas policy, I say to Netanyahu that he is a heartless, greedy bastard. He has turned Israel into an object of hate and not hope for the Jews of the world as the world intended. His land grubbing policy aimed at taking all the land he can get has isolated and not expanded the Jewish horizons—might does not make right. He should learn from the Catholics and the Vatican; they are not trying to take over Rome. He should listen to Secretary Kerry and live in peace, and not die at the hands of the Arab world. The world has seen enough killing as he has seen happen to his own brother who was on a rescue mission trying to help hostages held by a rogue government. This ignorant man and the people who support him not seem to understand history and what it is that has caused Jewish pogroms. Unbelievable, he of all people does not seem to understand the synonyms of pogroms:  slaughter, wholesale/mass slaughter, indiscriminate killing, mass murder, execution, annihilation, liquidation, decimation, and extermination. Before that can happen there has to be people who want that to happen and his leadership is making people want that to happen. Stop, before it is too late.
