OBAMA IS WINNING IN THE UKRAINE

Every time I hear the words Russia, Putin, Crimea or Ukraine I celebrate the fact that Obama is our president, because I shutter to think of what would have happened if neocons were in the White House; especially with the conservative congress we have. We do not have a perpetual “cold war” restarted with Russia. We do not have Germany, France, or Great Britain, China or any other nation allied with Russia—except for a failing regimen in Syria; Putin is isolated.

Recently, Putin called Obama; thus, the door to negotiations has been opened; Obama is the one who “forced it open” by securing agreements with the European Union: Germany wants the Russian natural gas, France wants the armaments market, and Great Britain wants the banking connections. That President Obama was able to negotiate through all of these barriers erected by greedy business titans is almost impossible to believe, but he did it. Rest assured, we will never know how he did it because his style of leadership is to achieve results and not try to cash in on personal fame of glory of accomplishment. He will never be a chest pounder, be on the deck of an aircraft carrier in a flight suit or at the helm of an outdated battleship. Diplomatically, he will never reveal, hence embarrass European leaders, what these European powers gave up to reach this agreement.

Nevertheless, the negotiations have just started. I am sure Putin wants the United States and European Powers to agree that he has “won” Crimea and that the world powers will recognize his takeover of that country as legitimate. Putin still has the threat of invading the Ukraine and holds the Syria standoff as a means to that end. Obama has to fight the multinational oil, arms, and banking corporations, which are much more powerful than Putin or the European sovereign nations. Perhaps, because Putin does not seem to know that business titans (Russian oligarchs) control him, which makes him vulnerable. There is no way of knowing but I am confident that Obama will prevail—my message to bomb, bomb, John McCain is this; we will prevail without dropping one bomb.
