MAKE TEXAS A TERRITORY

Senator Ted Cruz received a hero’s welcome when he returned to Texas after engineering the disastrous government shut down. The American people can learn from this. We are quick to blame Cruz but the real people to blame are the Texans that voted him into office. Try to analyze what their thinking might be.  Why would they vote for a person like Cruz? He was not like Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin or Pat McCrory in North Carolina who campaigned on one set of values then switched after the voters put him in office. Cruz was “hate the government” from the start.

We know the biblical based educational system in Texas, as a Sharia Law based educational system, leaves something to be desired. Teaching children to deny science, teaching racism, or teaching children that the Civil War was a war of aggression has nothing to do with what Ted Cruz wants. In that sense, Texas voters are not just uneducated; they are miss-educated. Where the problem comes is that several generations of teachers have taught their students that government is a very expensive, inefficient, and unneeded monster. The obvious paradox is that they elect a government hating Governor and a Congressional delegation to govern. Gov Rick Perry and Senator Ted Cruz are just the tip of the lance aimed at the heart of all government by a misguided society.

To carry the paradox a step farther, they constantly want to succeed from the Union. Gov. Perry repeatedly has threatened to succeed—it is time we remember Dallas and kick him and his misguided State out of the Union. There is nothing in that God forsaken State that won’t kick you, sting you or bite you. I would suggest building a fence around it and giving it to Mexico; however, I do not believe that President Enrique Peña Nieto Mexico would want such a cantankerous unruly miss-educated people. Like an unruly child, we are stuck with Texas unless we make it a territory like Guam, with non-voting representatives. Look at the Guam government web site, which says, “Welcome to the government of Guam. We are proud of the initiatives we are undertaking to make government work better for you.” How wonderful it would be if we could give Texas time to grow up and be like Guam before we readmit them to the union.
