+Joe Scarborough, Morning Joe (MSNBC), was a disgusting waste
of time this morning. This show is getting to be more and more like +Rush Limbaugh,
who has an audience of people who will believe anything you say as long as it has
a bash Obama flavor. His sycophants sat about repeating what Joe says; condemned
Obama for talking the economy, something that concerned 300 plus million people
in the United States and not the Naval Yard shooting, which he had just
addressed. He called out the Republican Congress for trying to shut down the government
in exchange for destroying “Obamacare”. The Republicans cannot face the truth;
They are deathly afraid that Affordable Health Care will be even more popular
than Social Security and Medicare are.
These three programs prove beyond a doubt that socialistic
programs work well in a capitalistic society. At an even more fundamental level, Obamacare
proves that conservatism is failing as a government philosophy. Unlike libertarians
such as Rand Paul, we are prepared to face reality. We live in a group and care
for our neighbors. People want to help people.
If you are a consumer
of Rush Limbaugh garbage or Joe Scarborough dribble, I understand why you might
think of Obamacare as “#Obamascare”. Accepting Obamacare must be like
walking through the dark alleyway of government Rush and Joe have taught you to
hate with so much intensity that you can only protect yourself with an AK 47,
one hundred fifty round clip, and
perhaps a side arm or a big knife. In a country where the people govern themselves,
“Who are you going to shoot?”
