By clicking on “Audience” on this Google blog spot, I see that
almost every day someone in Indonesia is reading my posts, which happens to be as far away as you can get from North Carolina. I suspect it is a person named Hera
Wati, whom I crossed paths with on Education Evolution.

Thus, I would like to acknowledge in some way that acquaintance
outside the context of that discussion group. I interpret her contributions to
the education group to mean she is a dedicated teacher. She, like everyone else, is struggling
to find out how to aid students in their efforts to learn. The unique aspect of
her contributions is that she contributes a freshness to the discussion that is
rarely seen in the contribution from those of us in the United States.
