I have been very critical of the Supreme Court of the Untied
States (SCOTUS) for its misguided decisions labeled Citizens United, which
equates money with words by treating a corporation as a person. What the SCOTUS
has done with this decision is corrupt the Republican Party; they have turned
that Party and the United States government into a cesspool of corruption.
This morning on Steven Kornacki the subject of Michael Bloomberg’s
political contributions against politicians who are against gun control. At
first, I applauded his decision to enter the gun control fight. The Supreme Court justices (Roberts, Alito, Kennedy,
Scalia, Thomas) argued that their decision was fair because both sides could
equally contribute, which is only theoretically true. Especially, corporation in
other words rich people are, by far conservatives; therefore, they support
conservative cause, which is why I focus my wrath on the Republican party. Conservative
pendants quickly pointed out that liberals controlled labor union pension funds
and would support democrats. Based on the amounts of money involve the premise
is false. There are a lot fewer pension funds than rich people but also pension
fund manages cannot handle the money loosely; it is there for the benefit of retirees.
In contrast, all a rich person has to take care of him or her self while a pension
fund has thousands of workers to be concerned about.
The objective of this post is to point out two important
facts; individuals have radical ideas while unions and political group organizations
support positions that are more rational. The second idea is that fair or not, the
basic premise of Citizens United is wrong; money is not words. Money represents
goods or services; therefore, labeling money as words is like calling some commodity
such as corn words or, waiting on tables as words. It is irrational and makes
no sense. The only conclusion possible is that the justices of SCOTUS did it
for nefarious purposes—to intentional upset the delicate balance in what we
know as the conservative party, which in turn has imbalanced our democracy.
Therefore, my
conclusion is that although I agree with Bloomberg’s support for gun registration,
what he is doing is wrong. It is no better than what the Koch brothers are
doing when they manipulate elections in various legislative districts around
the country to put the power in the hands of a small group of radical
conservatives. It is no better than what Art Pope did in North Carolina, where
we have a Motorcycle Safety law that say abortions clinics have to close in the
name of women’s safety, which is not only irrational but is immoral. It is only one of a number of states where
with suppression laws and racism in jury trial appeals. We have Rick Snyder
Governor of the State of Michigan intentionally bankrupting a major city by not
paying its debt to that city and turning the cities entire taxpayer owned
assets over to an appointed dictator or czar euphemistically called a city
manager. We have Scott Walker outlawing state employee unions in Wisconsin. We
have Florida drug testing welfare recipients. We have the United States of America House of Representatives, what is
supposed to be the house of the people, controlled by the rich. Roberts, Alito,
Kennedy, Scalia, and Thomas, may God damn you and the ground you walk on for turning the conservative party and our
country into a cesspool of corruption.
