Liberals could learn from Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment,
“never speak ill of a ”. All week long, on Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes MSNBC
shows, they have been trashing the Obama administration over the NSA and in the
past, they have spent great amounts of time on attacking other liberals for transgression
usually for not being liberal enough—for not being as radical as they are. This
morning, on Steve Kornacki show UP, he attacked liberal candidate for New York
Mayor, Anthony Wiener, for a 1991 campaign lie used against Adele Cohen. My
message to these people is simple, mention it but do not “beat it to death”. People
use what they say to vote for the other guy, who will almost always be a
Republican.
Look at how Republican Saxby Chambliss, the Senior Senator from
George, won his seat. He trashed his incumbent democratic senator in a South Dakota
race for office. A George W. Bush Commission said to the people that they would
close a huge military (Air Force) base, about the only big business in South Dakota
at the time, if they do not elect Toomy. How about the swift boat lie used
against presidential candidate, John Cary. Look at liberals attacking four Democrats
for voting against gun control legislation and ignoring the majority of Republicans
that voted against the same measure. The list liberals attacking liberals seems
endless. Steven Rachel, and Chris, if they want to become hysterical over political
lying, then attack lying as being immoral; I will guarantee that more Republicans
will be caught up in that net than democrats.
