RECRUTING ISIS FIGHTERS

Over the course of the past few years, it has become apparent that ISIS, a foreign organization, was actively recruiting fighters in the United States. They were using the social media, which because of its potential association with terrorism; the common media amplified its effectiveness way out of proportion. They framed their recruitment strategy around ISIS being anti-Jewish. Of course, the Jewish Diaspora through propaganda urged the media to label ISIS as pro-Palestine, which the media transformed into a reason for everyone to collectively to hate all Muslim. It was, and still, is a very narrow and pointed recruitment campaign, which required a response to an inquiry posted on a selected population. Nevertheless, the United States Government declared ISIS to be a terror organization, thus, making it a crime for them to recruit membership, which was considered a drastic move because, we, as a country, pride ourselves as a nation built on free speech. What shocked me was something I discovered on the internet by accident. ISIS is not the only foreign organization recruiting fights from among a selected population in the United States, with the added twist that the second one is legal. I was making an inquiry into the numbers of dual citizen between the United States and Israel, which turns out to be a murky subject. There is no simple answer to that question. In the process, I discovered that Rahm Emanuel, the ex-White House advisor to President Obama and now Mayor of Chicago is a member of the Israeli Defense Force. Type in “Join the Israeli Army” and they instruct how to become an Israeli soldier, even without being a citizen, which is part of the obfuscation of Israeli citizenship. Nevertheless, I think of this as being a double standard. Of course, I am not suggesting that our government declare Israel to a terrorist organization to prevent the practice, nor am I suggesting that ISIS is not a terrorist organization to legalize what they are doing. I examine the political situation in the United States in respect to matters of this nature and find a solid majority of pro-Israeli congressional representatives. On closer examination, I find that Republican voting in favor of the Netanyahu government while Democrats are voting against that government. The Democratic exceptions to this rule are a few people from states with a high Jewish population such as Bob Menendez from New Jersey and Chuck Schumer of New York. The change represents a remarkable reversal of party loyalties that coincides with the rise of the Israeli right wing to power. The tragedy of this is that given a chance, the majority will put us on the road to war in the Middle East. I seldom suggest someone vote against a Democrat but in this case, if you vote for Schumer or Menendez, you are voting with the neocons, the very same people who took us into Iraq. Of course, the suggestion is to vote Democrat, but we should recruit someone to run against two people who represent Israel. A vote for a Republican is a vote for more hate and more killing. That is wrong! URL: firetreepub.blogspot.com Comments Invited and not moderated
