TED CRUZ AND RAND PAUL DANGER

The only good thing coming out of the recent election is that we do not have to put up with all of the threats of “second amendment remedies” as happened after the 2012 election. Democrats do not do that. However, something that falls below the radar is that although they threaten us when they don’t win but they also threaten us when they do.

It is hard for me is to listen to all the post election “spoiled brat” rhetoric coming from people like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul because I am seeing more to what they are doing then perhaps there is. All of their demented foot kicking and tantrums leading up to the election were not just campaign tricks. Rather than bask graciously in their victory, as I expected them to do, they continue to bash Obama. I suppose I have a greater exposure to this then most. I read the right wing press such as the radical Personal Liberty Digest and enjoy writing critics of their published articles and then reading the responses to my comments. It is also interesting to read the interesting and in some ways, amazing comments made in support of the articles. What was most interesting in the pre-election era is the complete lack of substance of the comments. I am serious; over 95% of their comments reference nothing—zero. On the other hand, over 95% of the remarks contain some disparaging reference to President Obama; most often at a sailors’ locker room level. I will have to admit they come up with interesting variations of Obamacare, such as “Obanation” as part of their seemingly groundless judgment. I expected such remarks to trail off after the elections but they did not; if anything, they got worse and accelerated in number.

The message is clear; a group of people in this nation who see themselves as superior, meaning they hate the fundamental meaning of America, which is equality for all. Their comments, both in the way they are written and also what the thoughts (or lack thereof) they express, in my judgment make it clear that they are uneducated and of low or at least average IQ. I make this judgment because they never mention any of the issue of the day or reference any political policy no matter what it is. The amazing thing is this group gathers under what has been in the past a respected conservative Republican banner; “Why?” These people identify themselves using a relatively new trend of using an innovative collection of “flag waving” patriotic sounding names, which represents the exact opposite of what they truly are. The name, ‘Tea Party’ is an example. They represent the “hate everything” that is not them such as ethnic groups and political philosophies. This party or group melds into the Republican Party as a whole to the point where it is hard to tell one from the other. If the government of this nation is to survive, we cannot allow them to govern. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, for example, represent a serious threat to democracy.
