MR. PRESIDENT HISTORY WILL PROVE YOUR WORTH

It makes no sense. People are angry that George W. Bush went into Iraq without adequate planning even though he had months to prepare and now they are angry that President Obama is taking time to plan carefully an approach to handle ISIL or ISIS, which is necessary to clean up the mess “quick draw” George W. Bush left in the country. It is not at all strange that the media runs to war-monger McCain to get a comment, they know it will be nasty and center on bomb, bomb, bomb; they are looking to sensationalize every thing that happens. What I find intolerable is that on top of this, they lie and people believe it. Senator McNasty says he opposed Obama and the media tells us that “Congress” is opposes Obama.

Is it the Republican way to respond quickly and disastrously to world crisis without thinking? Is it that they think “Might is right.” The United States is so powerful that no matter what they do or how reckless it was, it is right; who is going to argue with a bully. Or, do they think if they respond quickly it must have been the right thing to do because they did it so quickly.  

Give me Obama’s cautious, methodical, dispassionate, and deliberate approach. I say, take all the time you need to get it right. The media may not be supporting you but the people will. As I blogged before; Mr. President, now that you stand alone because of a congress rendered dysfunctional because of Republican greed for power, make your decisions; history will prove your worth.
