I am amazed at the audacity of #Rep. Dave Camp of Michigan,
Chairman of the #House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee in his behind
the scenes attempts to corrupt the #IRS. He wants to use his committee to allow
conservative groups to continue to use the Laws related to the #504(c)(4) to #Tea
Party advantage. Lawmakers wrote this law over 100-years ago to allow charity organization
to collect and use money for charitable purposes free of tax burdens. According to #Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC, an
unelected official in the #Eisenhower administration changed the law by
substituting the expression ‘principally
for charitable purposes’ for ‘exclusively
for charitable purposes’. Regardless of how it was changed, that is the way the
law is now written and interpreted. This small change was detected by dirt bag #Karl
Rove, who was collecting huge political donates under the guise of their being
for use “principally” for charitable purposes. By doing so, he and his
organization were not paying taxes on GOP campaign money; thus, in essence, the taxpayers were paying #Koch
brothers to corrupt our political system.

When IRA officials revealed this, thus catching Republicans cheating,
claimed it was not them but was the Democrats who were cheating. Of course, #Fox
News were quick to point their fickle finger of accusations and loudly claim it
was “only” Democrats, which means there is a segment of the population that doesn’t
know any better; they will forever think
it was “exclusively” Democrats. Darrell Issa, Chairman of the Government oversight
committee, another Republican dirt-ball, shamefully tried very hard to prove it
was Democrats but Elijah Cummings (D) the ranking member of his committee caught
Issa in his lies.
Now, we have Rep. Camp, another Republican trying to corrupt
our government, again. He wants to pass
a law to keep the defective wording of the 504(c)(4) law in tact, thus, allow Karl Rove and
company to continue corrupting our government.
That is bad enough but he wants to do it behind the scenes so the American people
don’t know it. Is the Republican Party without honor? Are Camp, Rove, Issa,
Koch brother, and Republicans in general without honor? Will they actually vote
to do this? From past performance, I would guess they would do so without even
thee slightest tinge of conscience—a sad commentary on American politics.
