SOCIALIZED MEDICINE

The conservative worship of the “money God” has blinded them to the reality of health care. They have passed another piece of legislation condemning Obamacare . . . again. Someone has said that the definition if insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different result. At a time of self-inflicted blindness is the time for Democrats to pounce.

The people have seen that the free enterprise system does not work; hospital costs have sky high sky rocketed, a simple visit to a doctor’s office is outrageously expensive, and the kiting system of referencing one specialist to the next results in maximizing costs and minimizing care. The rapidly expanding urgent care industry is part of the kiting system.  Physician greed has spilled over to the auxiliary medical areas; the outsourcing of medical records, the drug company monopolies, the prescription only sale of drugs forcing doctor visits, and the outlandish cost of drugs is prohibitive.

Republicans do not want affordable health care but they have no alternative to Obamacare. However, Democrats do and that is single party payer. Now is the time to pass a law saying if you do not like Obamacare, we will institute a single party payer system—and that my GOP friends is socialized medicine. It is the only thing better than Obamacare and it is what we should have done to start with.
