RESPONSE TO ANONYMOUS COMMENTS FIRETREE COMMENTS

I have received a couple of anonymous comments (1/26/13) that seem to make sense. One concerned my post about My Minnesota Hunting Relatives and the other suggesting I publish e-books and write guest articles for other peoples blog sites. I found both of the comments worthy of response.

Guns: The point made is if I do not like assault weapons, don’t buy one.  My point in the post was that my deer hunting friends know guns and know how to handle guns. Similarly, men, and now women, who have combat experience, would also receive my respect.  I would feel safe if they were to buy an assault weapon but they never would because they know guns. The people who seem to be buying these weapons are macho types that think they will gain respect if they are seen totaling a weapon designed to kill people or nut job anarchists/ survivalists living in Northern Idaho or Utah. I would invite them to tell me the difference between respect and fear. I fear them but do not respect them. I do not want them to have assault weapons because they are putting my family, if not my family then other families, in danger.

About writing for other bogs or publishing e-books. Contact me. I am interested. About publishing e-books. I have. I published three books and hoped to sell 100,000 copies of each in 90 days.  As it turned out, I have sold a total of six books but not to worry, I still have a couple of weeks left in the 90 day to reach my goal.
