Never before has there been so much such faulty logic in public debate. Here is what is on the scales of justice in the guns debate: armed guards at all public and private events to protect us from gun owner’s verses gun control. All schools, political events, football games, weddings, airline flights, and other social events verses background check, bans on armor piercing bullets, assault weapons, essentially every weapon other than those used for hunting, which could also used for target practice. It is opting for the impossible over the doable.
Why a society would even consider, even when a crazy Supreme Court of the United States intentionally misreads the Constitution, accepting people running around with weapons of war or even having them in their homes. Doesn’t escalation of violence have any meaning? Does having a “social support group” mean having friends with bigger guns?
If everyone has a gun, we will be safest! If that is the case then Syria should be the safest place in the world. NRA nonsense!
