NRA IN AMERICAN POLITICS IS LUDICROUS

There is a “not so hidden” driven force behind the NRA  gun control debate. Remember political radicals saying thing like “lock and load” or “second amendment solutions”, and Wayne LaPierre saying we need assault weapons to defend ourselves. Remember SCOTUS deliberately misreading the second amendment to mean individuals and not state militias. That was no accident any more than their misreading of the Citizens United decision declaring that corporations are people. All of these thing appeal to a certain element in American politics. They appeal to the radical right wing; the Tea Party. Have you ever heard a liberal say anything similar to Tea Party radicals tying firearms to domestic politics?  Do you see assault rifles strapped over the shoulders of liberals at political rallies? Of course not!  Firearms, like racism, is radical right wing politics. The policies of the ones you voted into power: Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, Reince Priebus, McCrory, Scott Walker, Jan Brewer, Jim DeMint, Sarah Pain, etc.  If you are a Republican, you own them—they are yours. Are you still proud of them?

Have you every stopped to think who these people want to defend themselves against; what they mean when they say these things; they mean “the Government”; they certainly do not mean the government they control such as in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina—they mean democratic governments: red, white, and blue state governments. They mean the government of the United States for political and racial reasons. Governments they disagree with, which means governments they do not control. In a democracy, we think in terms of votes and not bullets. We think, or at least we should, in terms of peaceful changes in government. Does it scare you to think that if a Republican looses the vote they will “shoot” their way to power? Does the fact that you see a bunch of so-called tough guys with assault weapons over their shoulders make you afraid to vote for the person you want to vote for. This entire "NRA scene” in America politics is ludicrous; at least it is until they take over and need their arms to hold on to power. Dictators and warlords need arms not presidents and Governors. How did you vote in November 2010 an 2012?
