If you want an easy target, blame Obama for not doing what the constitution says congress has to do, case in point, gun control. Obama can initiate all kinds of legislation but Congress has to pass it. He can prevent legislation from passing but he cannot pass legislation. Obama is a very intelligent individual and operates at a functional level; let’s get this or that job done efficiently. Therefore, why draft legislation that will not pass the congress. Republican operatives know this and use it almost daily for political gain. All they have to say is that they would pass it if the president would send legislation to them. We the people know that is a lie. Republicans and some Democrats have found a way to blame Obama because congress sold out to the NRA lobby. It is time to call them on it. Gun control legislation is in the headlines now because of the unspeakable tragedy in Connecticut but any one who follows politics knows that about every single item that needs doing suffers the same consequence. This congress is so “good at doing nothing” that they have passed fewer bills than any modern congress and they blame the greatest President we have had in modern times. Judging by the results of the last election, I think that the people understands that the greatest president is offsetting the worst congress.
