FISCAL CLIFF PARADOX

Something is wrong with public disclosure of what is happening behind the scenes in Washington. First, I along with most other people believe that congress is bought and paid for by big business—they work for donors. They do what the big money tells them to do.  Second, everyone is telling us the so-called “fiscal cliff” will be a huge disaster for the American Economy. If that were the case, then the big money people would stand to be hurt really badly if it happens and should be in a state of semi panic. The confusion arises because congress seems not to be doing anything. It seems a paradox. The third thing is that the stock market is only taking a minor plunge and not a huge drop of say 50% as we would expect it to do if congress were to push the Nation off the cliff.  There seems to only one answer. Big money has made a deal that the problem will be solved in their favor on or shortly after January 3.  They are not going to sell off stocks, they are not going to prepared to close factories and fire workers, and they are not telling their congressional representatives to solve the problem because it is already in the bag for them. What do you think?
