DUKE ENERGY PLUTOCRACY IN NORTH CAROLINA

When you voted for McCrory as Governor of North Carolina, you voted against Democracy, you voted for Plutocracy. You can not take back your vote.

The governor’s election was just the icing on the plutocrat victory cake with the inscription saying, “State Government is Ours”. After Rep Heath Schuler knew he was about to lose his job because of Republican Gerrymandering of his district, he negotiated a new job. Duke Energy will swear him in as a Washington D.C. lobbyist. He called himself a democrat but he is a Plutocrat. An ad sponsored by American Petroleum Institute features Senator Kay Hagan. Her message, or rather their message, is do not tax energy companies; they want a free ride to big profits with out paying the price of being a good citizen of either our State or Country. She says she is a Democrat but she is a Plutocrat. Duke Energy paid Governor elect McCrory while he was Mayor of our largest city in North Carolina. The merger of Duke Energy with Progressive energy resulted in one of the larges Energy Companies in the United States was made under a cloud of suspicion but now a proven fact that they misled the states Regulatory Commission. The slap on the wrist is only that the Duke Energy CEO will have to leave after a year; so what? They will appoint another CEO just as bad if not worse.

Senator Kay Hagan and Rep. Schuler claim to be Democrats. McCrory claims to be a Republican. Wrong. They are Plutocrats. The point of this blog is that their political affiliation makes no difference. Duke Energy is in charge. You cannot vote for them or against them. They select their own leader; they bend and break laws at will. Duke Energy operates outside the constitution and bill of rights; it operates above the law; it is a North Carolina plutocracy. I know of several states on the same path but I know of no other state with such a destructive form of government in place on inauguration day, which is the first day of January 2013.  As an aside, McCrory campaigned on opening up the State to fracking for natural gas. Do you care to guess what will happen on that day?
