ISRAELIS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

This thing between Israel and Palestine is out of hand. It is about time people of political stature, elected politicians, points out the real purpose of the Israeli position, which can be summarize in two words: total subjugation. By “people of political persuasion”, I do not mean bomb-bomb McCain, who is the U.S. equivalent of Netanyahu. Israelis blame Palestine for fighting back against their blockades, the checkpoints, their takeover of Palestine lands, control of water rights, their black-market economy, and on and on. The fact that Israel is in a position to virtually enslave the Palestinian people is a crime against humanity and the U.S. is partly to blame.  I, as most Americans, felt sorry for the Jews as a people and supported the creation of Israel. However, Israeli radicals betrayed us.  I still support the right of Jewish people to have a homeland but not this way.

I listened to David Frum this morning on Chris Hayes MSNBC show Up. To paraphrase Frum’s words, he says Palestine started the war and lost therefore the spoils of war go to Israel; they have every right to do with them as they please.  His message was clearly a repeat of the Israeli mantra; any fault in the Middle East is due to Palestinians’ refusal to negotiate therefore deserved subjugation. In contrast, peace-loving Israel wants to negotiate with the precondition that they can enchain all Palestinians.  They are not only mean bullies, but also they play dirty. Please note another one of the preconditions imposed by Israel on any negotiation; they will not negotiate with any Palestinian leader, who is opposed to Israeli dominance of the entire area.  They feel it is their “God Given Right” to gather in as much Palestinian land as they happen to need and do it whenever they want too—and they are greedy. They will take it an acre at a time until they have it all. I go back and forth between one and two state solutions. I am more and more believing a one state solution is the correct one with a democratic majority of Palestinians.
