OUR GOVERNMENT:DO WE HAVE TO DESTROY IT TO SAVE IT?

The President PROBABLY will win reelection but I am sure I will be disturbed by the returns simply because some people will vote for conservatives as if that is somehow good for them. It seems incredible that anyone would vote for a conservative government because of the way the current conservatives party has formulated their economic policies. Really, Reagan did not give birth to the plan but he laid out the program based on a course to destroy the very government he, and those like him, wanted to control. They call it small government. Joe Scarborough on his MSNBC Morning Joe in between zingers aimed at Obama repeatedly, called himself a small government conservative. Although he is surrounded by evidence of the consequences of his belief, I really do not think Joe has a clue about what the consequences are of what he is saying. He seems not to think that democracy is a form of government “of the people, by the people”. Conservatives want anarchy to put us on the road to plutocracy, people you cannot vote out of office in charge

Listen to the rhetoric of the conservatives and then look at the consequences. Grover Norquist  for example, does not think people should pay taxes. He has gained power by taking this position because PEOPLE BUY INTO IT but look at the consequences. Our public schools are starving; while private education, the schools the rich kids can afford, is booming. Our highways and bridges are crumbling while the State Department is shrinking and the Pentagon is growing. Our jobs are going oversea in search for cheap labor and bigger profits while the conservatives are destroying labor union. Look at Citizens United ruling. Billionaire Sheldon Adelson has more say in our government than you do—I do not have to know who you are to know this is true. The list goes on and on.

All of this has an air of the Vietnam era; we have to destroy a village to save it. We have to destroy the tax system to save it, we have to destroy social security to save it, we have to destroy Medicare to save it, we have to destroy the countries infrastructure, we have to destroy the middle class, we have to destroy, destroy, destroy! Once it is all gone, some how it will be good.
