DEFINING ROMNEY'S POLICY DRIVERS

Romney is a dangerous man to have as president. He will say and do anything to get his way. This means that others, not him will lead the way. He is not an independent thinker—like a computer add on, he is dependent on his drivers. For example, if everyone in his circle says the thing to do is to make money, he can and will do that regardless of the righteousness or moral goodness of the path taken. Of course this is a not to subtle reference to Bain Capital vulture capitalism.  In the debate with Obama, Romney won on style not substance, which should scare the hell out of the American people. In that one and one half hour, he swore he does not want a five trillion dollar tax cut, which is mathematical nonsense, but everyone knows he did. The dangerous part is he still wants to pay the five trillion, to give to his friends, the rich.  He changed his stump position on immigration, women’s rights, on just about everything else but in his heart, he has not changed anything. He still wants to please, to be liked by his kind; a corruption of innate gregariousness. His problem he wants to please and to be liked by like mined people—the 1%; unless you woke up rich this morning, it is not you.

The reason this is dangerous is that he would surround himself with the 1%. They will do the thinking for him. George W. said he was “the decider”. No he wasn’t; a bevy of neocons were. The same will be true of Romney; his advisers names are secret while they wait in the wings. Have you forgotten the Eisenhower’s Military-Industrial Complex and how corrupting that is to our society?  It has even invaded our institutions of higher learning (University-Industrial Complex, Amazon kindle).  The people who are doing this are the 1% and not middle class America. The people who make money out of the arms industry supported by taxpayers dollars and not by the sons of the taxpayers who spill their blood. Is this any different from the workers who lost their jobs and pensions in one of the companies harvested by Romney?  If you work in one of these industries, voting for Romney is like selling your sons and daughters for a “good job”. I think John Bolton and Dick Cheney and company are up to about five new target countries for attack.
