SUPREME COURT FIRES FORT SUMTER CANNON . . . AGAIN

The Supreme Court fires the Fort Sumter Cannon for the second time.  The first time it was April 21, 1861 and today, 152 years later, it was fire again, only this time in Washington D.C.. The Chief Justice John Robert’s Court joins the Chief Justice Roger B Taney court as making the two worst decisions ever in American jurisprudence. Both courts agree that if you are black you do not have the same right of white citizens.
I remember that Children in the primary schools in Texas cheered when Lee Harvey Oswald shot President John F Kennedy. I haven’t heard yet what happened with the children in the primary schools in Texas when the Robert’s court made their decision but judging from the action of the Texas Republican Party, I expect it was the same—hilarity and wild cheering.

When we add the shame of this decision to that of the Citizens United decision it means America, my country, the so-called land of equal opportunity is steeped in hater; lingering civil war hate hangs over us like a dreaded pall.
