TREASON CAN RESULT IN DEATH PENALTY

The constitution is clear. A person who associates themselves with al Qaeda, an avowed enemy, by giving aid or comfort to them commits terrorist act against citizens of the United States have committed treason. If that person is a citizen of the Untied States and he or she commits a terrorist act against a fellow citizen, they also commit an act of treason against the United States. There is no special compensation accorded to citizen verses a non-citizen. In this context and in this troubled time, it is important, that we accept the idea that our problem with al Qaeda is a ‘war’.

The constitution of the United States:

Article III, Section 3
(1):Treason against the United States, shall consist only of levying War against them, or, in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort, No person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same over Act, or an Confession in open Court.
(2)The congress shall have the power to declare the punishment. . .
